Improving Lives IV
Kent County Council funded the Improving Lives IV programme to help 12 unemployed people from Herne Bay and Canterbury job centres get back into employment. The programme ran a range of workshops and accredited training courses, as well as one-to-one coaching/mentoring, giving local people the opportunity to improve their lifestyle.
The clients were given the chance to eat healthy produce grown in the community garden and created a new butterfly bed with new Project Officer, Emily Hill. Herne Bay’s county councillors, Brian MacDowall and Nicholas Bond, handed out certificates to the participants at the Awards Ceremony.
