On Tuesday 30th April, Lloyds bank held a quiz night at The Forge, 24 Cornhill, London in aid of Kent Enterprise Trust (KET). The night included lots of fun, drinks, mini games and the big quiz with the winner receiving a £150 bar tab courtesy of the forge. The whole night raised over £5,500 for the charity.
Kent Enterprise Trust is a charity that enables training and employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups. KET develops projects that aim to improve peoples’ prospects whilst also delivering services to the community
Sarah Baker, Head of Charities, Mid Markets at Lloyds Banking Group said, “A lot of money goes to large charities these days, so it is wonderful to work and raise money for a small charity, as they are the ones that support the local community the most”
Mirelle Frost, CEO of Kent Enterprise Trust said, “We really appreciate the support from Lloyds Bank, its staff and partners to raise vital funds to continue our services for people in need to help them into or back into employment through training, skills and confidence.”
