On Friday 12th October 2018, Kent Enterprise Trust held a 35th Anniversary Gala Dinner at the prestigious Canterbury Cathedral Lodge along with the kind supporters who attended. This was the charities celebratory event to celebrate the successful 35 years of supporting the local unemployed into or back into employment and improving the lives of people in Kent through creating access to opportunities that develop people’s potential.

Guests came from all over the county to be greeted by the Sherriff of Canterbury, Jeanette Stockley, along with her escort Ian Stockley. Invicta Carnival Court, Miss Amber Frost, Miss Holly White and Hannah Brice also attended the event and presented prizes for the games throughout the evening.

Entertainment commenced with a champagne reception with guests welcomed by pianist George Hoffman. Followed by stalls from; autism awareness, Sweet Sol, Christmas Gifts by Amy, Black Piranha Photographic, Four limes, RSPB, Foot Readings by Wendy, Autism Awareness ,Nathan Tarot card readings, win a mini with utility warehouse and Community Driving School. Guests also had some fun with a mock casino, party games, a fun photo booth, competitions, raffles and a finale disco by Whitstable, DJ Generation Vinyl.

Mirelle Frost, CEO of Kent Enterprise Trust said “We will put every single penny we raised on the night back into supporting the unemployed and helping Kent Enterprise Trust grow as a charity.
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, Canterbury Cathedral Lodge, Robinsons Solicitors, GF & CO Accountants, Netbox, Tarvos Wealth and guests the event is expected to have raised when all donations come in between three and five thousand pounds for the charity.
